Who am I?

My name is Hendrik Behme and I live near Sundern in the Sauerland region. I completed my training as a state-certified information technology assistant at the HSK vocational college in Olsberg and then trained as an IT specialist for application development.

Why did I choose this career path?

Right from the start of my training as an IT specialist, it was clear to me that I wanted to focus on software development, especially web development.

My background

• Berufskolleg Olsberg des HSK: I then continued my training at the Berufskolleg Olsberg in the "Information Technology Assistant" course. This included completing vocational training and gaining a technical college entrance qualification, which I received in June 2016. As part of the extensive course, I learned various programming languages such as C/C++ and Java, as well as important web development languages such as HTML, CSS, PHP and JavaScript. I also acquired knowledge in the development of database systems and the use of SQL. Network technology and the safe handling of various operating systems such as Linux, Windows and Mac OS were also part of the curriculum.
• Training: In 2016, I started training as an IT specialist for application development, which I successfully completed in July 2018.
